Beaumont Rectangle

Beaumont Rectangle

For a modern interpretation of the classic Parsons table, look no further than this Beaumont rectangle dining table. It shares the sturdiness of a Parsons table but with some tweaks to give it a modern twist. The legs and skirt sit flush with the edge of the table instead of being inset, and the legs themselves come through the top of the table so you can see the difference in the grain, accenting the corners. This style of table is very functional because with the legs in the corners you have a lot of flexibility on where to put chairs.

The key characteristics of a Parsons design are the corner post legs with the skirt. This structure provides a lot of strength and stability. With the legs tucked into the corners you can seat people as you like along the sides, giving lots of room for chair legs and people's legs. While this design does make it difficult to use the corners for seating, overall it gives you a lot of flexibility on how to use the table. Where the legs meet the table top, there may be a small ridge in the table top. Other design details include a 6/4" thick table top with a traditional square Seymour edge.

We build every table to order so you can have the table that is perfect for you. We can customize the size, the wood, the finish, the edge and the base so the table fits your style and your needs. Whatever you choose, you can be confident that you will receive a beautiful hardwood table, custom built for you.

At Loewen Design Studios we build stunning high quality hardwood tables. Where we really shine though is in helping people figure out the best dining table for them. We would love to help you figure out what your perfect table looks like. Reach out to start working with our design team on creating the tables that works best for you.
